BECOMING A CHAPLAIN

Application Process:​

1. Contact Sioux Empire Chaplains Corps with interest in becoming a member.

2. Applicants must complete and submit an application form

   • Applicants cannot have been convicted of a criminal offense nor any offense involving moral turpitude

   • Applicants must have immediate transportation to emergency call-outs

3. The completed application form and support documents will be submitted to the Sioux Falls Police Department and Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office for a background check and approval.

4. The Sioux Empire Chaplain Corps Lead Chaplain will conduct an interview with the applicant.
